I have spent my career working at the intersection of people and technology, trying to make sure that when things change, nobody gets left behind. I founded Bykov-Brett Enterprises because I believe AI is the biggest shift in how we work since the internet, and most organisations are approaching it the wrong way. They are buying tools when they should be investing in people.

THE JOURNEY

Where I Come From Shapes How I Work

I did not take the traditional route into AI consulting. That is exactly the point.

The Starting Line

I grew up in a situation where opportunity was not guaranteed. I had seizures through my teens, and I left school with very little to my name. The Prince's Trust charity via their employment programme changed everything. I only signed up to get the job centre off my back for 12 weeks. It turned out to be the intervention that redirected my entire life. It inspired me to try to provide others with the same support that I received.

Outreach and Community

I spent six years at the Prince's Trust, starting in outreach work across prisons, gang interventions, youth offending services, and job centres. I worked with some of the most marginalised communities in London. From there I moved into programme delivery, then developed the national STEM strategy, figuring out how to connect people furthest from opportunity into a sector that is inherently academic and elitist.

TEDx at 24

At 24 I gave a TEDx talk on digital inequality and the human cost of technological disruption. The argument was simple: 35% of jobs we know today will be automated within two decades, and our economic systems have not kept pace with our technological capabilities. The people furthest from opportunity will always be hit first. That talk launched my digital economic justice campaigning, dedicated to connecting those who face the greatest adversity with the knowledge they need to thrive in the digital revolution and run it, not be run over by it.

Corporate Transformation

I moved into corporate change, managing global talent development at the Open Society Foundations with a budget exceeding million across offices in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the US. Before that I led digital transformation training at the Prince's Trust, upskilling over 1,500 staff on new systems and delivering more than 70 multiday training sessions. This is where I learned first-hand how large organisations actually adopt technology, and where most of them get stuck.

VR, Pandemic, and Reinvention

I went self-employed the week before the world shut down. With no appetite for training or facilitation during a pandemic, I pivoted to building virtual conferences and immersive environments in VR, years before the metaverse became a buzzword. Then ChatGPT arrived, and a decade of preparation met the technology that made it all real. I led the AI and Digital Identity curriculum at Metacampus, delivering a 12-week programme teaching people to build with AI at the cutting edge of every advancement.

Bykov-Brett Enterprises

I founded BBE to bring all of it together: education, technology, inclusion, and practical AI implementation. Every engagement we deliver draws on outreach work, corporate transformation, immersive design, and a deep belief that progress is not progressive if it always benefits the same people. Today we work with corporate organisations worldwide, helping them adopt AI in ways that genuinely stick. No matter the revolution, the most valuable resource has been, and always will be, that of human potential

APPROACH

I Build With AI Every Day

I am not an observer of AI. I am a builder. I built a working AI assistant three years before Amazon launched Alexa. The platforms, tools, and workflows I recommend to clients are the same ones I use to run my own business, every single day.

That matters because the gap between AI theory and AI practice is enormous. Most consultants can tell you what AI could do. I can show you what it actually does, because I have already tested it, broken it, and rebuilt it. My background across HR, immersive technology, education, and enterprise consulting gives me something most advisors lack: I understand the people side, the technology side, and the messy reality of making them work together.

As Ken Robinson once said, "Human communities depend upon a diversity of talent not a singular conception of ability. and at the heart of the challenge is to reconstitute our sense of ability and intelligence" That is the lens I bring to every engagement.
